31 Days of VMA | Klubb Krokstrom

Krokstrom Klubb & Market is an upcoming restaurant in the Broadway Uptown District of Kansas City. Owners Josh Rogers and Katee McLean intend to bring the feel of the Scandinavian Peninsula to an area that previously lacked any true Scandinavian restaurant. Krokstrom, pronounced CROAK-STRUM, is a family name of Katee’s, and she draws on her Swedish heritage to find inspiration for her dishes. She incorporates an assortment of unfamiliar Scandinavian-style dishes, but even the pickiest eaters will be able to find something they’ll like on the diverse menu. The venue will also provide a variety of craft cocktails to supplement the dining experience, including akvavit, a Scandinavian spirit similar to spiced vodka.
Josh and Katee needed an elegant website to showcase their budding business. They will easily be able to update their menu, include photographs of their current dishes, and have the option of selling products from their market online when they expand into selling homemade pickles and Scandinavian goods. Keep an eye out for Krokstrom Klubb & Market when you visit downtown Kansas City, it’s sure to be a delicious experience!
